I have a terrible memory. Bought some mealworms but stopped feeding them to Zoonie, after reading not to , on here. I, No-Brain put them away and forgot about them. they are now black beetles, can my Beardie have them.
if not I`ll get rid of them.doh! :?

Why should we not feed mealworms? I do and they love them especially the big mario ones, they are not their staple diet they are only for treats. I have no idea about the beetle things though, i'm sure someone else will advise!

They can eat the beetles, just not a lot of nutrition in them. Dragonet - most worms are heavy in fat and used as a staple diet can cause fatty liver disease, however as a treat or when building a sick dragon back up they're OK.

thankyou Rick and Dragonnet,
I think I will get rid of them. Those Mario worms look quite fierce and large. :o
