I use the same mix for my Dubia roaches, crix and locusts - dry cat food (biscuits), weetabix and fish food flakes all crushed up together with calcium powder added. They all seem to enjoy it !

Fresh greens and butternut squash are good for gutloading as well. Its just making sure your livefood is full of nutrition which will pass onto your beardie :D

I actually made my own bug grub for the first time yesterday and already my Dubia colony have eaten it all.
I just used what I could find in the house at the time which was weetabix, a few cheerios, bee pollen and a small amount of calcium.. Im going to get some cat food (apparently asda own is the best one to use) once ive been paid tuesday..

I use a mix (equal parts) of rabbit pellets, wholegrain bread and cat food (or basic fish food) plus any left over breakfast cereal. Run the lot through a spice grinder and it's done.
