Hi everyone!

Another new member here. Myself and the boyfriend purchased a couple of baby beardies without much info given a couple of weeks back, and I must say without this forum we would have been fairly lost. The pet shop we bought them from weren't very forthgiving with correct info and worst of all, wood chip as a substrate!

So just a quick post to say thank you for having these forums and expert advice readily available for us newbie owners! :D

Heather

Nice to have you with us - and thanks for the compliments! Yes, it always is a problem with advice given by pet shops - as you'll have seen it is a common complaint on the forum.

Thanks guys!

hi heather and welcome, ur beardies are so cute, its always the way with pet shops and they say "oh u been on the net havent u" and then they sigh lol, i just say yes and to a very good forum where everyone owns beardies or breeds them so they know what there talking about, most pet shops just want the sale, one thing ill tell u is stefan and i bought two together sadly having to return one as we couldnt afford another viv to keep it in and as tiny ones they was ok but some turn as they get older and dont like having a friend now the good side is some dont do this and live happily ever after :D hopefully urs will be the second and live happily ever after :D ........I love there individual ways makes me laugh so much, give me a beardie over a fluffy pet any day lol...
