good plan. I hate text speak. I deleted someone from facebook as their status updates were impossible to read and started to irritate me. What's with the adding letters into every word? I just don't understand the purpose of it

I dont understand either, i find it much harder to read that rubbish than normal english,as with the text writing you have to read it and then translate it

I found taking his phone off of him worked the best as he would not stop texting me like it so i took it off of him one day and he has not done it again yet

This thread reminds me of an episode of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry gets annoyed at a woman who SAYS the word lol rather than laughing.
'lol' is about as far into text speak as I go, predictive texting wins! ... and is sometimes a lottery depending on which words you've used most.

eye ink wot people 4get is that some people on here r young and not all adults so think some spelling mistakes are ok lol
