i have recently inherited a 4ft viv complete setup from a mate. so looking to add to the family. i already have a beardie and was wondering what people thought would be a good pet to have next. looking for low maintanence keeping, similar to a beardie really but have no idea what to get, but fancy something different.

Leopard Geckos? Skints? Snake?

You could divide it into 2 and get 2 leopard geckos

I don't know about being similar - Australian Blue Tongues live over a wider range of climate, bear live young, have different substrate and feeding requirements and personally I find them rather boring.
I don't know what you have available over there but these guys are brilliant http://www.centralnetteddragon.com/Cent ... is%5D.html
as are Painted Dragons http://www.arod.com.au/arod/reptilia/Sq ... rus/pictus
and both have similar requirements to Central Beardies.
