Hi everyone , sorry but this is going to be a long one....

My house burnt down this weekend, I managed to get both my guys out but by the time i had woken up there was quite a lot of smoke.
As soon as the vets opened at 9am we was through the door.
Both was breathing fine and checked out okay, the chameleon was heavily stressed but the dragon as always was just happy to be sat on my shoulder nosing about.

The Cham went to a pet shop close by to get in a spare tank, but they didn't have one for the dragon. It was a nice day so me and buddy Sat in the garden for a few hours, then she stayed with me all that day and the next day while I was sorting things out.

The fire men (angels that they are) got both tanks out thankfully, and apart from being completely smoke filled, they was okay. so after an air out for 2 days and a good scrub and disinfect buds back in her tank, but she's not as happy about it as I thought. She's refusing locust and taking salad only in very small portions when normally she'll eat a massive bowl full. And she just seems depressed. We're back to see the vet on sat but I just thought I'd ask on here in the mean time.

Thanks guys
Shona

Should really add that obviously she's had to change outside surroundings but we are back at my mothers so the room isn't new to her at all. She lived in it for 3 years x

If she doesn't seem to have breathing problems then it's most likely stress, in which casedon't force the issue of food just offer and try not to fuss around her - she will settle. The vet visit on Saturday is still a good idea.
