Dillinger has his/her first vet appt this friday and we are very excited! No need to worry though! Dilli seems to be in good health, eating and pooing regularly! Being new to beardie owning we wanted Dilli to have a good once over to make sure we aren't over looking something! We looked all over town for a good herp vet that sees reptiles often and we finally landed on a good one! :!: We will keep everyone posted on how the visit goes (we assume all should go well!)

Also we did change Dilli's substrate to carpet for the time being, didn't want to take a risk with him being soo small! :) BTW, we are Ashleah and Blake! Forgot to mention that in our intro to the forum  We have a beagle named Seymour and a cat named Precious!

Its always a good idea to get a 6monthly/ yearly check just like any other family pet. Hope he gets on ok :D

P.S I have moved your post to the health section as it may be seen more there

You did the right thing getting a once over even though I'm sure everything will be ok.

All is well! Dillinger is a very healthy baby beardie and our vet gave us a ton of great info and tips! He was extremely pleased with Dilli's health and said we were doing an excellent job raising a healthy beardie!!! :!: :!: :!: :!: YAY! US! They were happy to hear we had researched so much about our little one and are excited to see him back as he gets bigger! The staff was great they all came out to see Dilli and took pics of him, we are very happy with the staff and the doctor! Dillinger on the other hand is not very happy with us at moment.... but we got him home and gave him a tasty cricket! Oh and we still don't know if Dilli is a he or a she, so we will just keep calling Dilli a he for now!
