Hi I have just realised that my Oscar will be 5 this year and I wondered what ages other peoples are? and who has the oldest dragon on the site does anyone know? what is there expected life span in captivity? I think I've read this somewhere on here but cant find it and I wondered if this forum agrees with the information given out about the bd life span?

My oldest are 8 and still fit and strong. They seem to live for between 10 and 15 years depending a lot on husbandry, personally I do know of a number of 10 year old dragons but I've never run across one older.

Rick

Thanks Rick that answers a debate we've been having about Oscar and how long we can expect to have him, hopefully a long time yet :D
