After looking through loads of posts on here, I've figured out that the crazy head bob dance that Lairy keeps doing is just a phase but just wondered if the now daily poop is part of this behaviour too?
I went on holiday telling everyone he only poops on Saturday and sometimes Sunday but instead he did it every day and has carried on doing that since!
He also head bobs right up against the glass and sometimes on the shelf and bumps his head in the process, what purpose does that serve?!

As you guessed "terrible teens". He's basically warning you off his territory!! As for pooing - any change in diet at all? Even a small increase in veg can get this going. As long as it's still firm it's OK, if it's very sloppy then try just live food for a few days. This will normally sort things out - however if it doesn't then a fecal float my be in order plus a vet visit.

Lovely! I hope he gets over it soon!
All good with the poop, no changes really, I think he ate more veg when we were away but maybe because he didn't spend so much time getting people's attention instead of eating the good stuff! I will keep an eye on it though!

How long can it take for him to mature? Just wondered what people's experiences are. He head bobs most just after a live feed, though today it was as soon as he woke up and saw me! Luckily he isn't being aggressive with it and is still happy to come out for a run around or a cuddle!

6 ~ 12 months. Having said that some males will go through this phase in spring every year!

Thanks Rick

He is going to wear himself out if he keeps it up for a year! The best ones are the full Bob where his legs go up too, looks like a crazy press up or something!
