Are you sure he is male???? Digging is normally a sign of a female wanting to lay, which can still happen even if she hasn't been with a male.

our bearded dragon is digging quite a lot at the moment but we were told that hes a male, is there any reason for this digging? apart from just wanting to do it, he hasnt been eating properly either for the last few days which is making us now wonder if he is a she???

Jack hasnt been eating a lot recently and has also been digging.

With research I found out it is due to winter and wanting to dig under away from the light for a nap, lol.

That would make some sense as he's been doing it a lot recently and his eating has calmed down a bit since before Xmas, I hope that's what it is anyway!

Might be an idea for you to read up on Brumating, that will explain a lot.
