Hi all im afraid i have some bad news! The vet this morning put Minxy to sleep as he said its the best thing to do as it wont survive much longer. He said it looks like it was born with a defect from birth.I asked him to look at Yoda and he said this is what Minxy shoud be like nice size and weight for a 14 week bearded dragon.I then asked me did i bring poo samples and i said yes,So he said if you dont mind waiting outside for 15mins and go and test them.15 mins went by and called me back in to say both samples are clear so Minxy didnt die from parasites. The Vet was so lovely i only had to pay fr the injection to put Minxy to sleep.R.I.P Minxy.

I have enclosed a pic of Yoda when he got home to cheer you lot up from reading this.

Simon :D

oh Simon, what a shame! Hope you are ok and that yoda is too. At least you've had the parasite check done now and you can get on with looking after Yoda, knowing that you did the best you could.
Ali xx

By the way, Yoda looks great

I'm so sorry for your loss, you did all you could for Minky but it sounds like nothing could have been done to help her in the end. :(
Yoda looks lovely and its good news that you have the all clear from parasites :D
Sounds like you have a good vet as well.

What a shame - but you did the best thing not making him suffer any more.
