i was looking on a reptile website and saw an article about two beardie's that some low life had abandoned at the side of a country road near north craven in yorkshire ! whoever decided to leave them put them and a viv fully equiped with light's and all the trapping's too ! behind a large rock ! it was found by a passer by who got the local RSPCA to attend ! one of the beardie's had died and the other appeared to be dead but when the officer put it on the dashboard in his car the heat revived it ! but it doesn't get any better as the same officer also found a monitor lizard a few day's later not far from where the beardie's were found ! but it's viv had been crushed and the lizard was dead! it must be easier to give them away if you no longer want them than just to dump them mile's from anywhere to freeze to death ? :x

What a horrible story! I wonder whether the owner had tried to sell them, but had no offers? Seems very strange. There must be more to it, but whatever, it's terrible and cruel.

it's a shame to dump them out in the wild's knowing that the weather will be cold ! it was really out of the way too so im suprised anyone came upon them at all im sure they could have given them to someone else or took them to the local RSPCA the pictur of the beardie that survived looked pretty miserable :(
