You should be able to go back almost 1/2 as much again if she'll let you, after that she'll be walking a lot more comforably once her toes have relaxed into a more natural position. A tip from my vet - if you nick the vein in the nail and it starts bleeding push it into a bar of soft soap - stops bleeding and is perfectly safe.

Any good handwashing type of soap that isn't so hard that you can't easily press the nail into it. This simply seals the wound and gives it a chance to coagulate.

I have seen worse, you will need to keep an eye on her feet as they may be a bit twisted permanently now. Basically it's just a matter of watching to see her nails do keep nicely worn and don't start to curl under and into the pads.

yeah a couple of them were badly twisted, i think it was the two middle ones on one foot and one of the middles ones on the other, her little toe is raised compared to the other toes also, so im not sure if thats going to be permanent or wether it will slowly move back into place, hopefully it will be all good now she has the proper care she needs :) and thank you so much for the advise you gave me, ive never had one come in with such bad nails
