Hello been along time since I was on here,

I have a few questions I rehomed two beatified just under a year ago and told boy and girl but had them checked and was told both female,
Then one started being very dominant and attacking only to try and mate did this 3 times a few weeks later we had eggs, so either she stores them for nearly a year or I have a boy and girl? They were plump and white , not lookin so good now :-(

Any how it's been 5 weeks since and no more eggs so just wondering what's your opinion on what's happening?

Sounds like a mistake in sexing to me. I'd have to say separate them before any damage gets done and if you can put a good photo of the relevant parts up we'll have a go at sexing them for you. Long term storage of sperm isn't unheard of but your description of dominance etc. leads me to think boy/girl.

Hi I will try and add pics today but as of the last week fraggle the one that laid eggs is now more dominant lol. They don't fight really just do a bit of head bobbing, otherwise get on quite well. Not sure how to add pics but will give it a go, I have 4 dragons if you don't mind figuring them all out lol

No problem as long as you can take clear in-focus shots of the vent area and just behind it. Usually easiest if someone holds the tail up in the air so the feet almost leave the ground - this puts the bits I need to see nicely on view and doesn't hurt the dragon. You'll need to use something like Photobucket to store the pix and then load them here.

He's big - what does he weigh? Looks a little overweight to me.

Fraggle looks female, Puff male, Prime female, Spike male.

Anyone else want to try? Basically you're looking for a single hump just behind the vent for females and twin elongated lumps in the same area for males.

Hope this helps.

Rick
